After a morning yoga session and trip to the Farmers Market, I decided that I was overdo for a kale-filled smoothie. This one really hit the spot – the mango and banana made it perfectly sweet without any additional honey/sugar/agave, and the chia seeds give this green beauty a big boost of omega-3, antioxidants, fiber and vitamins. If you don’t have frozen mango, you can throw a handful of ice in there to bring it all together.
Mango, Banana, Chia Kale Smoothie
1 cup frozen mango chunks
2 cups (lightly packed) kale, roughly chopped
2 cups cold water
2 tablespoons chia seeds
Place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
